We aim to keep high standards in customer communications and would like to say that we respond to emails within minutes (not hours) of receipt. Of course those received out of hours will be dealt with within the early course of the next day. Slow we are not!

Can you assure me of who I'm dealing with?
SwissFridge is a trading name for Lime Tree World Ltd. We are registered at Companies House and our company registration number is 05606531. Please feel free to inspect our Companies House entry. You can click here and search for us by name. We are not a part-time, or hobby business and we are committed to supplying a great service and quality goods.
We are a friendly family business with backgrounds in the Motor Industry, IT and Financial Services, but in 1989 we had a real change in direction to fulfil our passions for travelling & adventure. We get real satisfaction from making peoples travels exciting, fulfilling and safe, above all we have a real understanding for the goods we deal with. Using our knowledge and exacting standards we will search for and only stock products that perform, and meets the quality standards we, and our customers expect.
Can I talk to a real person?
Yes of course you can, during normal hours (10am - 5pm). If we can help in any way we will. Just call 0208 133 7135 to speak to a member of the SwissFridge staff.
Do you accept Amex?
Yes we do.
Can I send my order by Post?
Sorry we can only process orders via this website as it is more secure and faster.
Can I telephone you to place an order?
Yes, by all means. We can be reached on 0208 133 7135 between 10am and 5pm.
Do the prices shown include VAT?
Yes, our prices are fully inclusive of VAT at the current rate
Can I deduct VAT if I live outside the UK?
Unfortunately no, any reclaim should be made in your home country.
Do you deliver outside the UK?
Due to fraud from some overseas countries, we may at our discretion not deliver to some overseas addresses. In general we will contact you to arrange delivery.
How long should I expect to wait for delivery?
All orders are dispatched the same day or the following day depending on the time of order. Larger items such as luggage etc may take between 2-3 working days depending on warehouse schedules, unfortunately a few products are held in different warehouses so the transfer may take a day longer but no more. We will contact you if any delays are expected.
Can I return an item for exchange if it is faulty?
Yes of course, but please contact us first as we may be able to help in some other way.
Can I return an item for refund if I am not happy with it?
Provided the goods are in an unused and in re-saleable condition, and any hygiene seals have not been removed then we will accept a product back from you on this basis within 14 days of purchase. Unfortunately we are unable to refund the postage costs.
Will you pay my postage costs if I return an item to you?
If you return an item that is either faulty or develops a fault within 28 days of receipt then we will refund your reasonable postage costs. Please ensure you obtain a receipt for postage, as lost items cannot be refunded.
Will you pass my personal details to anyone else?
No.
Will you send me unsolicited e-mails?
No, but we will if you opt and send you offers you may be interested in. It will be from us and nobody else! You may of course tell us if you no longer want to hear from us.
Can you advise me on what specific product will meet my needs?
Yes of course. We are so passionate about the products you buy from us we are only too happy to select the right thing for you. Sometimes we don't know as well, but we will find out, and find a solution. We all learn from each other, manufacturer, suppliers and customers, and it's good to talk. |
